Trying out a new church can be intimidating…

At least that’s what a lot of people think. When you visit The Vineyard Church for the first time, we want you to have a great experience with us. Whether you’ve been a follower of Jesus for a long time, you’re a new believer or you just have some questions about faith, God, the church, or the Bible, we want you to know that you’re welcome here.

What are worship gatherings like at
the Vineyard Church?

Our Sunday gathering lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes

In the beginning, a live band will play and sing for about 25 minutes. The words to the songs will be projected on a screen. You’re welcome to sing, stand, raise your hands, clap…or not. It’s up to you!  We use music as a way of showing love to God and teaching the truth of who he is.

There will be a 5 minute transition after worship that we call “Coffee Break.” This is a time to greet one another, get a refill on your favorite morning beverage, and send the Jr. High and Elementary kids to their “Sunday school” classes.

One of our teaching team will give a 35 minute message based on the Bible. It is designed to inspire us, challenge us, and encourage us to grow in relationship with Jesus.

Our worship service ends after our closing song. Feel free to stay for a time of personal prayer ministry.

At The Vineyard Church, we want people to experience God more fully, wherever they’re at in their faith journey. We gather each week as friends who want to grow in our faith in Jesus.  We’re ordinary people, pursuing the extraordinary God.

Every time you come to church, we want you to have the tools you need to find life in Jesus Christ.  We encourage you to bring your own Bible and take notes. Bible apps on your phone are welcome too!

Now that we’ve told you what church is like, we’d like to show you.

The music we use for our gatherings, often called Praise and Worship music, is a way that believers in God have expressed their love for him since the beginning of time. Many people in the Bible, most notably King David, composed original songs to thank God for what He had done in his life and to ask God to be a part of his circumstance, whether good or bad.

At The Vineyard Church we use music in the same way. Our musical style is contemporary Christian; beautifully written, skillfully shared, and easy to sing along to.

Where Do My Kids Go?

A member of our team will show you where to go when you arrive. Our Children’s Ministry is for kids 6 months through 5th grade and meets at the same time as our main service. The children’s program begins after the music portion of the service and a teacher will escort them to their classroom. We offer them high energy, age-appropriate programs consisting of songs, games and a creative teaching that they can understand.

So, while you’re engaged in service, your children will experience theirs in much the same way, in a manner that connects with them at their level of understanding.

Do I Have To Register My Kids?

Yes. This is for their safety and for your peace of mind. This ensures that only you, or whoever you designate, is able to pick up your kids from the children’s area.

Can I Bring My Kids Into Service With Me?

Yes, of course! Your children are always welcome in service. However, our children’s ministry is not just “day care,” it’s a fun and interactive way for them to experience God and learn about a life with Him through the Bible. Let them try it out for a service. They’ll probably have a great time!

Not at all. We will, however, let all first time guests know how much we appreciate them being with us!
