COVID-19 Precautions

Our gatherings are socially distanced per CDC guidelines. Masks are not required for those who have been fully vaccinated and are not experiencing symptoms.  In order to care for those who are unable to get the vaccine at this time, we ask that you wear a mask when you are entering and exiting the building and during the singing portion of our gathering if you are not fully vaccinated or if you have a known exposure. Feel free to remove your mask once you’re seated with your family or group you came with – or leave it on. No judging going on here!

If you are experiencing symptoms, please join us online.

Visiting a new church can be intimidating…

We get it. We’ve all been there. You need to know that we have no perfect people here pretending to be anything. We are fellow humans and travelers seeking a life with God that’s genuine and transformational. Whether you’ve been a follower of Jesus for a long time or you’re simply exploring faith, you will find a people in The Vineyard who act more like a healthy, loving family that welcomes new people like you – warmly and sincerely.

WATCH OUR WELCOME VIDEO

What are worship gatherings like at
the Vineyard Church?

In the beginning, a live band will play and sing for about 25 minutes. The words to the songs will be projected on a screen. You’re welcome to sing, stand, raise your hands, clap…or not. It’s up to you!  We use music as a way of showing love to God and teaching the truth of who he is.

After worship and singing, one of our teaching team will come with a message from the Bible. Our teaching approach is more interactive and relational than you may have experienced elsewhere. Often, whoever is teaching will also have questions for everyone in attendance to reflect on and even answer in the service. The goal of our gatherings is real spiritual formation and transformation. Not just inspiring monologues, but actual dialogue with each other as we all learn from one another.

This is the way the Church started in its earliest days. It still works best for actual spiritual transformation!

Our great passion is that people would experience God more fully, wherever they are in their faith journey. We gather each week as friends who want to grow in our faith in Jesus.  We’re ordinary people, pursuing the extraordinary God.

Every time you come to one of our gatherings, we want you to have the tools you need to truly find life in Jesus Christ.  We encourage you to bring your own Bible and take notes. Bible apps on your phone are welcome too!

Now that we’ve told you what church is like, we’d like to show you.

ABOUT OUR MUSIC

The music we use for our gatherings, often called Praise and Worship music, is a way that believers in God have expressed their love for him since the beginning of time. Many people in the Bible, most notably King David, composed original songs to thank God for what He had done in their lives and to ask God to be a part of their circumstances, whether good or bad.

At The Vineyard Church we use music in the same way. Our musical style is contemporary Christian, beautifully written, skillfully shared, and easy to sing along to.

FAQ’s

Where Do My Kids Go?

A member of our team will show you where to go when you arrive. Our Children’s Ministry is for kids 7 months through 4th grade and meets at the same time as our main service. The children’s program begins after the music portion of the service and a teacher will escort them to their classroom. We offer them high energy, age-appropriate programs consisting of songs, games and a creative teaching that they can understand.

So, while you’re engaged in service, your children will experience theirs in much the same way, in a manner that connects with them at their level of understanding.

Do I Have To Register My Kids?

Yes. This is for their safety and for your peace of mind. This ensures that only you, or whoever you designate, is able to pick up your kids from the children’s area.

Can I Bring My Kids Into Service With Me?

Yes, of course! Your children are always welcome in service. However, our children’s ministry is not just “day care,” it’s a fun and interactive way for them to experience God and learn about a life with Him through the Bible. Let them try it out for a service. They’ll probably have a great time!

Other FAQs

Is There a Dress Code?

No. Come as you are. If you like to dress down for church, great. If you like to dress up for church, great. We’re just glad you’re here.

Do I Have To Talk To Someone?

Well… no, but we’re not sure you’re going to truly enjoy your time with us if you don’t!  Church isn’t an event we go to; it’s who we are as people who are growing in faith, hope and real love.  But, if you still want to fly under the radar, one of our team will be able to help you, or can direct you to our info center. We won’t leave you hanging.

Am I Going To Be Called Out?

Not at all. We will, however, let all first time guests know how much we appreciate them being with us! We hope you take a few minutes before or after the gathering to meet our pastors and leaders if you like, or just be genuinely welcomed by others who are pursuing life in Jesus as well.

Do I Have To Give Money?

No.  You won’t be pressured to put anything into the “collection.” However, the minstry we’re committed to is fully funded through personal generosity. So if you decide to give, we would accept that as a blessing from you!
