“Prayer is a conversation with God about what we are doing together.” – Dallas Willard

Prayer is an incredibly important part of the life of the church. It is through prayer that we see the Kingdom of God break into our lives and we find the guidance we need for partnering with Jesus to continue His ministry in the world.

We offer equipping and training in the area of personal prayer and community prayer that seeks the power and presence of Christ in people’s lives today.

Here are some opportunities to be strengthened in your prayer life, to receive prayer for yourself or others, and to join with the church in the work of prayer:

Opportunities to Pray for Others

Before Sunday’s service (9:30-9:45) the Intercessory Prayer Team meets to pray for our church service, to hear from the Lord, and to intercede for the church universal.

If you are interested in being on one of the prayer ministry teams, please email D’Anne Bynum. We have quarterly training classes to join the prayer ministry teams!

Opportunities to Receive Prayer

After each service there is an opportunity for you to receive prayer from our Prayer Ministry Teams who have been trained to pray for you. If you are watching online and wish to receive prayer, please email Pat Pipping.

We provide Extended Prayer Sessions for special needs which go beyond the time parameters of our Life Groups or services.

Let us know how we can pray for you. Submit your prayer requests or request extended prayer ministry by sending an email to Pat Pipping.

We are praying for you each week!

Opportunities to Pray Together

Prayer is practiced regularly in our life groups which meet weekly or bi-weekly for meals, scripture study and social celebrations.

Transformation Prayer Ministry (TPM)

This is a powerful ministry that allows people to honestly bring their life struggles, pain, or just discontentment to the Lord.  At TPM, trained facilitators will pray with you in confidence and help you walk towards freedom.

Do you find yourself answering yes to any of these questions?

  • Ready to experience more freedom?
  • Depressed?
  • Desire to have another tool God can use to refine your faith?
  • Tired of reacting with disproportionate anger?
  • Hungry for more of the Fruit of The Spirit to be manifested in your life?
  • Fearful and feeling held back from being who God has called you to be?

If you answered yes to any question, Transformation Prayer might be the next tool God wants to use in order for you to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Rom. 12:2).  Trained facilitators help the person get to the root of the pain, which is often caused by false beliefs. These beliefs are then held up to God and replaced with His truth, which then transforms us. Truth based pain is also dealt with and is often given to the Lord, which results in peace and freedom. We believe that “the peace of Christ can reign in our hearts and minds in every circumstance” (II Thes. 3:16).
