Who We Are

Connect & Grow

Want to grow as a follower of Jesus?  Interested in learning how to partner with Him to continue His ministry in the world?  Want to help people everywhere find life in Him?  Us too!  All of these things are meant to happen in deeply connected and committed relationships with others.

Here are a few opportunities we’ve made available to really get connected and grow at The Vineyard.

1. Newcomer’s Luncheon: This is an interactive opportunity for our guests to meet the pastor, ask questions and get to know a little more about The Vineyard Church. These luncheons are scheduled once a month on the third Sunday, and happen immediately after the Sunday service.  Check the website or church bulletin for details.

2. Life Groups: Life Groups meet either weekly or twice a month in people’s homes in the Katy/West Houston area. This is the primary way people stay connected and grow in faith in The Vineyard Church.  The focus of Life Groups is discipleship and relationships.  We are finding life in Jesus Christ together – and making incredible friendships along the way.

See our Life Groups page for more information.

3. Discovering the Vineyard: This class is designed to introduce you to the vision, values and ministries of The Vineyard and to learn more about how you can get connected and grow as a disciple of Jesus. It’s also a great opportunity to meet others who are exploring The Vineyard as a possible church home. This class meets quarterly and is required for leading any ministry at The Vineyard Church.  Watch the website or church bulletin for dates and times.

4. Men’s Group: This monthly gathering is designed to provide time and space for guys to connect and grow together. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month either for breakfast, dinner or group outings at various times and places. It almost always involves phenomenal food, fellowship and fun.

See our Men’s Ministry page for more information.

5. Women’s Group: Ladies meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month, typically in the evening.  Events may be hosted in someone’s home or out on the town.  Leave the kids at home (or wherever!) and join other women for a time of connecting, relaxing, fun and prayer.

See our Women’s Ministry page for more information.

6. Church Picnics and Campouts: Occasionally we get together after church for a picnic in the park or we’ll spend the weekend camping at places like Brazos Bend or Stephen F. Austin State Park.  These are great opportunities to grow deeper in our friendships and love one another.
